I love being near the water, It’s my happy place. Whether it’s the ocean, the pool, a lake or a river, there’s something magical about the sound of the water that just makes everything okay. I currently live in southern New Jersey with my husband, who I met on the beach in 1986, and married in 1995. I’m a proud parent of two amazing adult children. Our son is pursuing a PsyD in psychology and our daughter is an undergraduate studying criminal justice and psychology.
I was definitely a late bloomer when it came to my professional career. I began in early education and embarked on a twenty-year journey through training and employee development, which has led me to who I am today. It may have taken some time for me to get here, but when I reflect on my journey, a clear and common thread emerges: helping others reach their full potential. It's more than just a mission or a purpose; it's truly my passion.
My Experience
My journey as a Certified Professional Life and Leadership Coach has been an evolutionary process that took shape through my professional experience in Leadership and Employee Development. While I’ve always been a person others have come to for advice, it was around 2006 while working as a Training Specialist for a Fortune 500 company, that my professional role slowly transitioned from employee training to employee engagement. It was through that process that I felt a spark ignite.
When I transitioned into a new role as Director of Talent Development, I cultivated that spark into the pursuit of opportunities that enhanced my passion and greatly benefited my interactions with the 500+ employees of that organization.
Today, as an IPEC® Certified Professional Life and Leadership Coach, I enjoy the realization of that initial spark through my ongoing goal to help others ignite and pursue their passions, while bringing them the same fulfillment I’ve been fortunate to experience.
Above all, my experience has taught me that all business is rooted in personal, whether it’s what drives us, or what challenges us. That understanding has allowed me to connect with my clients on a level that benefits them both personally and professionally.
